Seams Like Love

Which maiden will he bowl over?

It’s the start of a new season for professional women’s cricket team The Scorpions.

Eden Palmer is starting the new season with mixed feelings. It’s been a terrible winter, losing her playing form, her mental health, her boyfriend Matt, and her best friend, fellow player Brooke. On top of it all, a reckless loss of temper means she’s still carrying an injury and isn’t ready to play. In many ways, she’s still healing.

This would be a lot easier to deal with if she didn’t have to share the stadium with Matt.

Matt knows it’s tough for her—but neither want to leave the club. He wishes he could turn back the clock, but perhaps he’s not cut out to date a professional athlete. If only he wasn’t working for her father, the Head Groundsman, who surely blames Matt for Eden’s emotional derailment.

However, Matt’s biggest challenge might be to avoid falling for the team’s new recruit… Brooke. A rising star, she’s hot property… and hot. Unfortunately, she was the source of all Eden’s problems, including the breakup.

If the two teammates can’t repair their friendship, the team will suffer.

If Eden can’t regain her mojo, her career might be over.

And what of love?

Seams impossible.
